WHAT MAKES THESE STENCILS DIFFERENT
Chalk & Mesh Silkscreen stencils are made with an adhesive back and a fine mesh material embedded in the middle that gives them greater details and less paint bleed. You can use them many times and they are easy to care for.

WHAT TYPE OF STENCIL DO I NEED?
Chalk & Mesh comes in two types of silkscreen stencils. The purple are great to use for most projects. They are more sturdy and stickier than the blue. They work great on solid surfaces like wood, and textiles like t-shirts, curtains, towels, etc. The other one is blue and is recommended for glass, metal and slick surfaces. They are less sticky and thinner.
You will see most of my stencils in blue, but I have learned that the purple are more versatile. I still recommend blue, though for slicker surfaces like metal and glass. Purple would stick too much and stretch or tear when removed.
